Massage Services Available

I have a wide variety of services available.

On the following page, I have a brief description of each. If the service needs a more in depth explanation, it is linked to a corresponding page.

            Traditional Massage types:

Swedish Massage

A very gentle and relaxing massage.  Swedish is the basis of many other types of body work and originated thousands of years ago.

Deep tissue

A massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It's purpose is to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow deep strokes on the contracted areas. The massage either follows or goes across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia.

Sports Massage

A combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue and stretching techniques to help athletes, work-out enthusiasts and runners prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage is also good for people with injuries, chronic pain, or restricted range of motion.

Myofascial Release

A very effective hands-on technique that provides sustained pressure into fascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Fascia is very densely woven, covering and interpenetrating every muscle, bone, nerve, artery and vein as well as all of our internal organs. I incoporate this technique into most of my massages. Little to no oil is used during this part of the massage.

Quantum Touch Energy Balancing

A very relaxing, comforting and soothing part of the massage. Connie became certified in Quantum Touch in January 2018. It's great for anyone that has experienced stress, grief, trauma or just someone who feels out of balance.  Just as massage therapy offers relief to tight and tense muscles, energy balancing soothes and relaxes. If someone is experiencing a lot of pain, it can be greatly reduced with Quantum Touch. I use it for all my massages. Sometimes a client wants a whole session of it. Otherwise, I always end my massages with it.

Maya Abdominal Massage

In 2001, Connie became a practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal therapyTM.  This is an external, non-invasive massage on the upper and lower abdomen and back.  Clients come for this kind of massage when they have symptoms of; difficult menses, organ prolapse, digestive challenges, post surgical challenges, (including cesarean), fertility problems, adhesions and more.

After going over the client's history and current symptoms, it is determined what procedure to follow to have their health improved and/or restored.

Connie has worked with many women trying to get pregnant. After receiving the Maya massage therapy, many have become pregnant and had the baby that they wanted to have so badly. They have also had relief from many other symptoms including adhesions, painful periods, organ prolapse and more.

For more information about the history and details of Maya massage you can read my further description on the page dedicated to Maya Abdominal Massage.
